School holidays declared in many states due to severe cold

There is relief news for students due to cold and dense fog in North India. Many states have declared holidays in schools. Meerut And Muzaffarnagar The District Magistrate (DM) has ordered the closure of all government, private, and aided schools from classes 1 to 8.

Long holidays in Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir

Uttarakhand:

  • Dehradun district administration has announced admission till class 12 in all government, private and Anganwadi centres. Holiday till 4th January 2025 Has been declared.

Jammu and Kashmir:

  • Till Class 5: School 10 December 2024 to 28 February 2025 Will remain closed till.
  • From class 6 to 12: School 16 December 2024 to 28 February 2025 Will remain closed till.

Haryana and Delhi

  • Haryana: There will be winter holidays in all government and private schools from January 1 to 15.
  • Delhi: Schools will remain closed from January 1 to January 15.

Uttar Pradesh

  • Primary School:
    • Closed from 31 December to 14 January.
    • Schools will open at normal time on January 15.
    • Students will be given homework for 15 days.

Madhya Pradesh

  • There will be holidays in schools from 31 December 2024 to 4 January 2025.
  • Schools will restart from January 6.

Rajasthan

  • All government and private schools will remain closed till January 5, 2025.
  • Strict action will be taken against private schools if the order is not followed.

Jharkhand

  • Government schools will remain closed till January 5, 2025.
  • Schools will restart from January 6.

Kendriya Vidyalaya of Raipur Division:

  • Will remain closed from 24 December 2024 to 2 January 2025.

Change in school timings (Chhattisgarh)

District:

  • Jashpur, Manendragarh, Chirmiri, and Balrampur.
  • Keeping winter in mind, school timings have been changed.

New timetable:

  • Two shift schools:
    • First shift: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
    • Second shift: From 12:45 pm to 4:15 pm.
  • One shift schools:
    • From 10:30 am to 3:30 pm.
