In September, there will be holidays on Sundays as well as second and fourth Saturdays. Eid-e-Milad Barawafat is on 16 September, so there will be a holiday in schools in many states including Telangana and UP.
School Holiday 2024: There is relief news for school students. In view of the possibility of heavy floods and rains, Collector Lok Bandhu has declared a holiday today on 9 September for students of classes 1 to 12 in all schools of Ajmer district. At the same time, the Manipur government has declared a two-day holiday in all schools and colleges on Monday and Tuesday due to deteriorating law and order in the state.
Apart from this, holidays have been declared in schools in some places of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh due to heavy rains. Here, in Batala, Punjab, there will be a holiday on September 10 due to the marriage anniversary of the first Patshahi Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Mata Sulakhni Ji. In Alwar district of Rajasthan too, the collector has declared a local holiday on September 10 due to the fair at Pandupul Hanuman Temple.
Schools will remain closed for so many days in September
There will be holidays on 15th, 22nd and 29th September as they are Sundays. 14th and 28th will be the second and fourth Saturdays, so many schools will remain closed on these days too.
Eid-e-Milad Barawfat is on September 16, so there will be a public holiday. Apart from these holidays, there will also be some local and regional holidays. So far holidays have been declared in Telangana, UP and Bihar.
In Jharkhand's Dhanbad district, government schools will remain closed on account of Jiutiya on September 25, Durga Puja Saptami on October 9, Diwali on November 1 and Chhath on November 6.
In Bihar, there will be holiday on Anant Chaturthi on 17 September and Jiutiya festival on 25 September.
Vishwakarma Puja/Anant Chaturdashi is on 17 September (Tuesday), so there may be a holiday in some schools in Uttar Pradesh on this day too. However, this is a restricted holiday.
