School Holidays 2024: There is good news for students. The Chhattisgarh government has declared a public and general holiday on 'Eid-e-Milad' on 16 September 2024. Optional holidays on Anant Chaturdashi and Vishwakarma Jayanti on 17 September will remain as is. In Banswara district of Rajasthan, holidays have been declared in schools on Eid-e-Milad on 16 September and Anant Chaturdashi on 17 September.

Apart from this, holiday has been declared in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Delhi, UP, Andhra Pradesh today on 16th September. Schools will remain closed in Hyderabad on 16th and 17th September. Here, there will be holiday on 22nd and 29th September due to Sunday, so schools will remain closed in all the states.

Holidays declared in these states on 17-18 September

The Odisha government has declared a holiday for all schools and colleges in Bhubaneswar on September 17 in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit. The Maharashtra government has cancelled the holiday on September 16 and ordered schools and colleges to remain closed on September 18.

In Bihar, holidays have been declared in schools due to Anant Chaturthi on September 17 and Jiutiya festival on September 25. In Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, government schools will remain closed due to Jiutiya on September 25, Durga Puja Saptami on October 9, Diwali on November 1 and Chhath on November 6.

So many holidays in Chhattisgarh from September to December

Chhattisgarh School Education Department has released the calendar of holidays in schools and B.Ed-D.Ed colleges for the academic session 2024-25. A total of 64 days of holidays have been declared in the list of Directorate of Public Instruction. In this, winter vacation will be of 6 days and summer vacation will be of 46 days. Summer vacation will start from May 1 and will continue till June 15.

6-6 days holiday has been declared in Dussehra-Diwali. There will be holiday on 29 October due to Dhanteras, on 30 October due to Narak Chaudas, on 31 October due to Diwali or Laxmi Puja, on 1 November due to Govardhan Puja and on 2 November due to Bhai Dooj.
