School Holidays 2024: There is a relief news for school students. The Telangana government has announced a holiday on Ganesh Chaturthi on September 7 and Milad-un-Nabi on September 16. Eid-e-Milad holiday is mentioned in the state calendar, but it may change depending on the sighting of the crescent, that is, the holiday may be on September 17 instead of 16. Here, schools will remain closed on September 8 as it is Sunday.
In Dhanbad district, there will be holidays in government schools on account of Teej on September 6, Jiutiya on September 25, Durga Puja Saptami on October 9, Diwali on November 1 and Chhath on November 6. As soon as the DC's order was received, DEO Nishu Kumari and DSE Ayush Kumar have jointly issued the order. Let us tell you that out of the total 60 days, 55 days holiday has been issued by the state headquarters.
Schools will remain closed for these many days from September to December in UP
As per the holiday calendar 2024 issued by the UP School Education Department, during the academic session 2023-24, schools will remain closed on September 16 (Monday) on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad
Vishwakarma Puja/Anant Chaturdashi is on 17 September (Tuesday), so there may be holiday in some schools of Uttar Pradesh on this day also.
However, it is a restricted holiday.
- Schools will remain closed on Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, Vijayadashami on October 12, Narak Chaturdashi on October 30 and Diwali on October 31.
- Schools will also remain closed on 25 December 2024 (Wednesday) on account of Govardhan Puja November 2, Bhai Dooj: November 3, Guru Nanak Jayanti November 15, Guru Teg Bahadur Jayanti November 24 and Christmas.
There will be many holidays in September too
- In the month of September, there will be holidays on Sundays i.e. 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th September. 14th and 28th September will be the second and fourth Saturdays, hence many schools will remain closed on these days too.
- Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on 07 September Saturday, so holidays may be announced in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, MP, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
- Eid-e-Milad Barawfat is on September 16, so there will be a public holiday. Apart from these holidays, there will also be some local and regional holidays.
- In Bihar, there will be holidays on Teej on 6 and 7 September, Anant Chaturthi on 17 September and Jiutiya festival on 25 September.
