School buses will not be checked on the roads, school operators have 10 days to fulfill the conditions

Fatehabad, 16 April (HS). Frightened by the strictness being taken by the administration after the school bus accident in Mahendragarh, the school operators of Fatehabad reached to meet the DC on Tuesday. Here DC Rahul Narwal held a meeting with all the school operators and listened to their demands. After this, the district administration has given them 10 days' time. School operators will fulfill all the standards set regarding school buses for 10 days. It was decided that till then school buses would not be stopped on the roads. No action will be taken. The administration will run the campaign again after 10 days. If any bus is still found without permit or fitness, then a crackdown will be imposed on them.

Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal has instructed all private and operators of all educational institutions to follow the road safety and safe school vehicle policy in school vehicles, action will be taken against those who disobey the orders. No school operator has the freedom to disobey the rules. The Deputy Commissioner said that school operators should visit the RTA office on 17, 20, 21, 27 and 28 April and ensure that all the documents and other work related to school buses are completed. Buses will not be checked on the road. A schedule will also be prepared by the administration in this regard. He said that counseling of bus drivers and assistants will be done in private schools, for this a committee will be formed. The Municipal Magistrate will be the nodal officer of this committee. Administration officials and representatives of private schools will also be included in the committee. Apart from this, counseling of school bus drivers will be done by the District Red Cross Society after every 15 days. He said that school operators should ensure counseling of drivers at their level also. If any bus driver has consumed alcohol, the information should be immediately provided to the administration. The Deputy Commissioner said that in the coming time, a meeting of the play schools and academy operators running in the district will also be organized with the administration and necessary guidelines will be given to them regarding the safety of children.
