The Scholarship, named after Professor David Lockyer, is for students with a background in social sciences or dentistry who are planning to undertake a Master of Dental Public Health (MDPH) in Sheffield. Interested students can apply for this scholarship through the official website.
Eligibility:
- To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must:
- MDPH propose to study public health from September 2024.
- Receive an unconditional offer to study at the university before September 2, 2024.
- Do not receive funding from any research council, government, private enterprise, charity, or similar organization.
- Have not previously studied outside your country.
- Be an overseas fee-paying student from a low- or middle-income country (see terms and conditions).
Selection Process
The selection process involves outstanding applications being selected by a panel of senior staff members.
The Panel will specifically consider:
