Schemes were reviewed in the meeting of the District Coordination Committee

Araria, June 25 (HS). A meeting of the District Coordination Committee was convened in the Parman Auditorium of the Collectorate on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Araria DDC Rosi Kumari. Additional Collector Disaster Janmjey Shukla, Sub-Divisional Public Grievance Redressal Officer cum Director, DRDA Soni Kumari and related departmental officers were present in the meeting.

In the meeting, mainly the works of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), MNREGA, Jal Jeevan Hariyali, Lohia Swachh Bihar Abhiyan, Child Protection, Social Security, DRCC, NITI Aayog, Seven Nischay, Jeevika, ICDS, Supply, Panchayati Raj, District Statistics, Labor, Animal Husbandry, Cooperative, Welfare, Minority Welfare including Municipal Council Araria and Chief Minister Janata Darbar, District Magistrate Janata Darbar were reviewed.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Development Commissioner Rosie Kumari said that ensure speeding up the implementation of all developmental and public welfare schemes. Also, the implementation of all schemes should be in accordance with the set specifications and standards. She said that the Chief Minister and District Magistrate should ensure to work with full commitment towards the execution of public complaints received including Janta Darbar. While reviewing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, it was directed to complete the set target in any case. Under the Jal Jeevan Hariyali Abhiyan, pending works related to renovation of public ponds, construction of soak pits on the banks of public wells, hand pumps, creation of new water sources, dense tree plantation etc. were directed to be completed as soon as possible and to update the completed works on the portal.

In the meeting, instructions were given to ensure that the benefits of various schemes run under social security reach 100% eligible beneficiaries. Similarly, many necessary guidelines were given to the District Minority Welfare Officer, Araria, to bring progress in various schemes run for minority welfare and to the District Program Officer, Araria, in order to review ICDS. Officers of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
