SBI Fastag: The country's leading government bank SBI has introduced a new Fastag for big vehicles. The purpose of introducing this Fastag is to prevent toll tax theft. This new Fastag is specially designed for vehicle category-4 (VC-04). This category includes cars, jeeps and vans. Apart from this, SBI has launched the country's first MTS RuPay NCMC. Both of these will make traveling easier.
State Bank of India (SBI) has taken a big step to stop toll tax theft. Toll tag devices are often misused by large vehicles such as cars, jeeps and vans. To stop this misuse, SBI has launched a new Fastag.
How is SBI's new Fastag special?
SBI announced this new Fastag during a press release on 30 August 2024. SBI said that this new Fastag will reduce the time taken at the toll. Apart from this, this Fastag will identify class-4 vehicles like vans, trucks and will make the work of toll collection easier.
Along with this, it will help the toll plaza operator to identify the wrong toll tax paid by a vehicle. Due to which the toll operator will be able to take immediate action against such vehicles. Along with this, collecting the correct toll tax will reduce scams and the government's income will also increase.
The country got its first MTS Rupay
Apart from introducing a new Fastag for VC-4 (VC- 04) category vehicles, SBI has also launched the MTS Rupay NCMC prepaid card. Through this card, you will be able to easily make offline payments at many places including metro, bus, ferry, toll and parking. It can also be said that the purpose of this card is to provide offline payment facility for NCMC-enabled transit systems.
How will you get the benefits of MTS Card?
SBI has introduced the country's first MTS Rupay card. MTS is also called Multi Transport System. MTS card will make it easier for passengers to travel. According to the information received about this, Know Your Customer (KYC) verification is not required for this.
Along with this, users can also top up the card without going to the metro or bus using SBI's OneView app. Apart from this, SBI's MTS RuPay NCMC will make the transit system easy and safe.
The new SBI FASTag and MTS RuPay NCMC are aimed at enabling people to travel with ease.
