Former US President Donald Trump told his former White House doctor that an immigration chart saved him from a deadly attack. Texas Representative Ronny Jackson said he spoke to the Republican leader over the phone who told him about the chart. He (Trump) said, 'Border Patrol saved my life. I was looking at that Border Patrol chart. If I hadn't pointed to that chart and turned my head to look at it, the bullet would have gone right through my head,' White House physician Jackson told the New York Times. It was reported that Jackson, who had travelled from New Jersey to Texas to meet his former patient, said Trump was not at all perturbed by the July 13 incident.
Trump also spoke to Fox News' Bret Baier on the phone. Baier reiterated that the former president first looked at the chart and then a bullet hit his ear. According to Baier, Trump shared a picture in which a bullet is seen passing through him. He said that the doctor he spoke to said that if the bullets had been a quarter of an inch apart, he would not be talking to that doctor today.
