Saturn Lunar Eclipse: Saturn's lunar eclipse was seen in many parts of India on Wednesday-Thursday midnight. This amazing sight was seen after 18 years. Amazing pictures of Saturn's lunar eclipse have emerged from Delhi and West Bengal. Scientists call this astronomical event Lunar Occultation of Saturn. Earlier, a lunar eclipse was seen in March.

The Saturn lunar eclipse began on July 24 at 1.30 pm. 45 minutes later, at 1.45 pm, the Moon completely covered Saturn. Then 45 minutes later, at 2.25 pm, Saturn began to emerge from behind the Moon.

According to scientists, Saturn lunar eclipse occurs when the moon covers Saturn. Since Saturn is hidden behind the moon, Saturn's rings are visible from the moon's side. Usually a solar eclipse occurs after a lunar eclipse, but such rare astronomical events are seen after many years.

The lunar eclipse was also seen in Sri Lanka, China and Myanmar

Apart from India, Saturn's lunar eclipse was also seen in neighboring countries Sri Lanka, Myanmar and China. The time to see it in these countries was different from India. The reason for Saturn's lunar eclipse is that when both the planets change their path while moving at their respective speeds, then Saturn appears to rise behind the moon. In this, Saturn's rings are visible first.
