Sarwani donated Rs 23 lakh in 30 minutes for the renovation of Vinaymandir School in Gharsala.

Surendranagar News: Late in the house of Wadhwan. The birth centenary of Arvind Bhai Acharya was celebrated. In which a donation of Rs 23 lakh was announced within half an hour after the renovation of Vinayamandir School located in Gharsla. On this occasion, alumni were honored and a book was also released.

Arvind Bhai Acharya, son of Panota, Jhalawar, was born on 1-12-1923 and died on 22-8-2013. He started participating in the freedom movement while studying in college. After serving as Taluka Development Officer, he was District Panchayat President and MLA from Wadwan from 1980 to 1990. Then the birth centenary celebrations of Arvindbhai Acharya were organized at Gharsala by the Vadwan Gharsala Family and Shramik Seva Trust.

On this occasion, the book written by Bhupendrabhai Dave on the pilgrimage and tourist places of Surendranagar district was released by Deputy Chief Justice Jagdishbhai Makwana, District Development Officer Rajesh Tanna, former Finance Minister Babubhai Meghjibhai Shah, Padmashree Shahbuddinbhai Rathore and others. MLA Jagdishbhai Makwana announced Rs 10 lakh for the new building of Vinay Mandir School in Gharsala Camp.

Apart from this Shri. Rs 5 lakh from Nareshchandra’s family, Dr. D.K.Vadher, Mohanbhai Patel, Alumnus and Executive Secretary of the Assembly T.K.Doria, Jaguriben Shah, Pannaben Shukla, B.D. Rs 1 lakh each by. During the program itself, Vaghela and Merubhai Khachar received Rs 50 thousand and donations worth Rs 23 lakh were collected.
