Amritsar : Under the nationwide train stop movement on the call of United Kisan Morcha, farmers under the leadership of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee leader Sarwan Singh Pandher have started a dharna at Devidaspura railway gate at 12:30 pm. While talking to journalists before sitting on the railway track, Sarwan Singh Pandher vented his anger on BJP MP Kangana Ranaut and Union Minister Ravneet Bittu. He said what would have happened to Bittu if his companions had died in the Lakhimpur incident.
Calling Kangana a fool, he said that at the behest of the Center and BJP leaders, Kangana and Bittu are trying to defame the farmers. Sarwan Singh said that if the central and state governments do not accept the demands of the commission agents and labor organizations on time and do not end the strike, then farmers will also jump into this movement and join the strike along with the commission agents and laborers.
