This time there has been two and a half times increase compared to the stores opened on the same Amavasya last year. This time, apart from cash worth Rs 35 crore, there is a huge pile of gold and silver jewelery in the store and gift room. This time, gold jewelery weighing about two and a half kilos and 165 kilos of silver were found. The calculation of reserves was completed in six rounds, in which there was full cooperation from temple board officials as well as employees and bank employees.
According to the information, a total of Rs 34 crore 91 lakh 95 thousand 08 has been received in the God’s store and offering room office in the famous Krishnadham Shri Savliyaji. Thakurji’s store was opened a week ago on Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha. The total amount received from Thakurji’s reserves was counted in six phases on Friday. Rs 11 crore 34 lakh 75 thousand in the first phase, Rs 03 crore 60 lakh in the second phase, Rs 04 crore 27 lakh 80 thousand in the third phase, Rs 02 crore 73 lakh 90 thousand in the fourth phase, Rs 03 crore 51 lakh 29 in the fifth phase. Thousand 500 rupees were withdrawn. In the final and sixth phase of calculations, an amount of Rs 13 lakh 93 thousand 81 was received. This time a total cash amount of Rs 25 crore 61 lakh 67 thousand 581 was received from the storehouse of Lord Shri Sanwaliya Seth. After the calculation of the sixth phase, the calculation of the entire amount received from Thakurji’s store has been completed. Besides, 02 kg 290 grams of gold and 58 kg 900 grams of silver were also recovered from Thakurji’s store. Here, Rs 09 crore 30 lakh 27 thousand 427 were received in the form of cash and money orders in the meeting room of Shri Sanwaliyaji Mandir Mandal Office. 504 grams 560 mg gold and 128 kg 930 grams silver were received as gifts from this office. During the sixth and final phase of counting, Additional District Collector and Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sanwaliyaji Mandir Mandal Prabha Gautam, Board Chairman Bhairulal Gurjar, Board members Sanjay Kumar Mandowara, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Shambhu Suthar, Shrilal Kulmi, Bhairulal Soni, Naib Tehsildar and Temple Division Administrative Officer First Shivshankar Pareek, Administrative Officer Second Nand Kishore Taylor, Temple Arrangements Incharge Rajendra Sharma, Estate and Security Incharge Bhairigiri. Goswami, establishment in-charge Lehari Lal Gadri and employees of temple board and regional banks were present.
Increase in offering amount compared to last year
Additional District Collector Prabha Gautam said that last year, Rs 13 crore 86 lakh 31 thousand 800 were received from the open store, Rs 2 crore 14 lakh 19 thousand 144 in cash and Rs 6 thousand 164 were received in the form of money order in the meeting room office. This year the amount of offerings has increased by about two and a half times.
All records so far broken
This time the amount received from the storehouse of Lord Shri Sanwaliya Seth and in the meeting room office has broken all the previous records of Shri Sanwaliyaji Mandir Mandal. There was great enthusiasm among the devotees of Lord Shri Sanwaliya Seth after receiving the record breaking amount. Earlier, the maximum amount offered in a month had reached Rs 18 to 19 crores.
Thakurji’s store opened in two months
Actually, the store in Sanvliyaji temple is opened on Chaturdashi before Amavasya. But due to old tradition, the store is not opened on the Chaturdashi that comes before Diwali (Amavasya), but the store for two months is opened on the next Chaturdashi. This time a stock of two months was opened. Chief Executive Officer Prabha Gautam said that Thakurji’s store was not opened last month due to the festival of Diwali, which this time has been opened simultaneously for two months.
Work on many projects regarding passenger facilities
Regarding the store, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sanwaliyaji Mandir Mandal and Additional District Collector Prabha Gautam said that about Rs 35 crore has been received from the store and offering room, which is a record. The temple administration is working on many projects for the facilities of the pilgrims. Special focus is on trying to complete the ongoing work quickly. We will try to start a Dharamshala in two to three months, so that the facilities for the stay of the pilgrims will be expanded.
