After the marriage, a shocking statement has come out from the community. Nii Borte Kofi Frankwa II, a leader there, says criticism of the religious leader is only due to ignorance. This marriage has been done according to tradition and customs. The community says that the girl was doing penance since she was just 6 years old to marry the religious leader. There were no restrictions in his life during this period. According to a tradition the girl was made the wife of a religious leader.
