New Delhi, 10 October (Hindustan Reporter). Aam Aadmi Party is making a political issue out of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence not being allotted to Chief Minister Atishi. Today party leaders criticized the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and the Bharatiya Janata Party on this issue. Party's Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh said that BJP has insulted a woman Chief Minister by throwing her out of her residence during Navratri. Maa Durga will teach a lesson to BJP.

Sanjay Singh said in a press conference at the party headquarters on Thursday that the BJP elected government is adopting new tactics every day to insult AAP leaders, but how will it be able to stop our spirit of work? Free electricity, water, education, treatment, pilgrimage for the elderly, bus travel for women are engrained in the hearts of Delhiites, how will she be able to snatch them away?

He said that PWD of Delhi Government had given the keys of the Chief Minister's residence to Chief Minister Atishi. Chief Minister Atishi had kept his belongings in the government residence. The people of Delhi want to know by what authority the LG got the Chief Minister's belongings thrown out of the government residence. BJP has been losing in Delhi for the last 27 years. He alleged that with the intention of taking over the Chief Minister's residence, LG got the belongings of a woman Chief Minister thrown out. BJP is spreading the lie that Arvind Kejriwal had not given the keys, whereas it is clear from the letter of GAD that on October 4, he had vacated the CM residence and given the keys. After this, PWD gave the keys to Chief Minister Atishi and he kept his belongings.

MP Sanjay Singh said that the then Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had vacated the Chief Minister's residence after resigning from the post. BJP people are saying that Kejriwal has not vacated the house and has not given the keys. Sanjay Singh showed the GAD's letter of vacating the house in front of the media and said that in it the GAD clearly writes that on October 4, Kejriwal vacated the government residence. There are no other liabilities left on him including electricity, water, gas etc. After this, on Sunday, the keys of the residence were handed over to Chief Minister Atishi and he got himself presented in the residence. Atishi also held a meeting in the camp office. Despite this, forced bullying is being done by LG. They forcibly vacated the house by throwing out the belongings.
