Ranchi, September 11 (HS). Ranchi MP and Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth inaugurated the Indian Defense Industry Pavilion at the Land Forces Expo-2024 in Melbourne, Australia on Wednesday. This is the first time that India has participated in the Land Forces Expo. After the inauguration of the Indian pavilion, Sanjay Seth visited the stalls of various organizations related to the Indian defense industry. Many companies including DRDO, BEML, Yantra India Limited participated in this expo.
Sanjay Seth interacted with DRDO scientists. He took information about the systems and technologies displayed at the expo. Seth said that this expo will play a positive role in providing new momentum and strength to the Indian defense industry. New opportunities will be created in many areas including production and employment. Seth said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, the Indian defense industry has reached new heights. The world's attraction has increased through campaigns like Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India. We are becoming self-reliant in the defense sector by creating better coordination with each other. India is now not only increasing its self-reliance in defense products, but is also exporting products. Today we are joining the world's leading defense producers. In the coming days, India is going to achieve a big achievement in the field of defense production.
