Mumbai, May 3 (HS). Sanjay Nirupam finally left Congress and joined Shinde group's Shiv Sena on Friday. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde welcomed Sanjay Nirupam into the party.
Chief Minister Shinde said that his candidates will benefit from the experience of Sanjay Nirupam. He said that we have formed the government on the basis of Bala Saheb's ideas. There has been a lot of development work in the state in the last two years, so many people are entering Shiv Sena with positive thoughts. Earlier there was a negative atmosphere in the state, everyone was fighting Covid sitting at home but the government was formed and everyone came out and started breathing freely, Chief Minister Shinde said that all the closed projects were started.
Sanjay Nirupam said that after 20 years I am returning home and I am not alone but am joining Shiv Sena with my family. This is a fortunate day, I have different views about Bala Saheb but we were in Congress for the last twenty years. Left Shiv Sena in 2004-5 due to some reasons. After this he joined Congress but for making controversial statements in Congress, Sanjay Nirupam was suspended from the party for six years. Today Sanjay has joined Nirupam Shinde group's Shiv Sena.
