CM Yogi was expressing his views at the break session of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha Gyan Yagya on Tuesday evening in celebration of the 57th death anniversary of Yugpurush Brahmlin Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj and 12th death anniversary of national saint Brahmlin Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj at Gorakhnath Temple. Underlining in detail the prestige of cow in Sanatan Dharma, the Chief Minister said that the identity of Sanatan is in cow. It has been our Sanatan tradition that the first bite is of mother cow. If every Sanatani had done this work then cows would not have roamed on the streets today. Similarly, the last bite is believed to be from the dog. If this work had been done then the helpless dogs on the road would not have preyed on the passersby. In this regard we have not followed the tradition of our sages.
To save Mother Earth, we will have to save Mother Cow.
CM Yogi said that one name of Mother Earth is Gomata. If we want to save Mother Earth, we will have to save Mother Cow also. The government is making all efforts at its level for the conservation and promotion of cow, but citizens will also have to fulfill their responsibilities in this. He said that more than 16 lakh cows are being reared in the state through more than seven thousand cow shelters.

The Chief Minister said that for the protection of mother cows and cow progeny, the government also provides financial assistance of Rs 1500 per month per cow to the farmers who keep destitute cows. Similarly, from destitute cow shelters, the malnourished families are given a matrimonial cow and the amount for its maintenance. CM said that the milk of indigenous Indian breed cow is like nectar. Common people can also avail the benefits by becoming a partner in the operation of the Gaushala. He appealed to adopt cows in the cowshed. Make arrangements accordingly and worship him by applying tilak on Gopashtami. By doing this, your house will be full of wealth, life will be happy, you will get all types of health and with the blessings of Mother Cow, there will be no sorrow and poverty.
Desi cow is a panacea for every disease
Expressing concern over diseases like cancer, kidney and liver failure, the Chief Minister said that all this is the result of the fault of the system, which has affected every food grain due to the use of chemical fertilizers and dangerous drugs. The solution is not just treatment. The solution to this problem lies in Indian cow based natural farming. If food produced from natural farming done from cow dung is used then there will be no diseases like cancer, kidney and liver failure, diabetes and there will be no stress. Indian breed of cow is the panacea for serious diseases, hence we have to protect and promote the cow progeny. The Chief Minister said that apart from the treatment through Ayushman card, he has also given Rs 1400 crore separately from his discretionary fund for the treatment of serious diseases of the poor.
CM Yogi openly praised Katha Vyas
Praising Swami Shri Rajendradas Dwaracharya, who had come from Katha Vyas Malukpeethadhishwar, Vrindavan, CM Yogi said that Swami ji made us listen to Shrimad Bhagwat Katha with utmost simplicity and ease.
