After completing the survey work inside Sambhal Shahi Jama Masjid, the report of the Advocate Commission has been submitted to the court in a closed envelope. The report has been filed in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division Aditya Singh. Advocate Commissioner Ramesh Raghav submitted that report to the court. Now the things inside the survey report have come to light.
It is being told that evidence of the existence of a temple in Jama Masjid is being found. There are two banyan trees in the mosque. The banyan tree is worshiped only in Hindu temples. Not only this, there is also a well in the mosque. The well is half inside the temple complex and half outside. The outer part of the well is covered. The court ordered the survey after a petition claimed that the Sambhal Jama Masjid was actually a Harihar temple. Videography of about one and a half hour was done on the first day of the survey i.e. 19 November 2024. Three hours of videography was done the next day. About 1200 photographs were taken during that period. During the inspection, more than 50 flower-like artefacts were found in the mosque. A portion of the dome has been flattened while making modifications to the old structure. Evidence of new construction has also been found. The temple shaped structure is depicted. A chandelier hangs tied to a string on the dome of the mosque. Such chains are used to hang bells in temples. According to sources, symbols found in the temple have also been found at the disputed site.
