Today Keshav Prasad Maurya inaugurated various development and beautification projects in Manjhanpur of his home district Kaushambi. On this occasion, he unveiled the statues of great men and paid homage to them and also planted saplings giving the message of environmental protection.

The Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated the Yoga Center under Municipal Council Manjhanpur by unveiling the statues of Lord Parshuram Ji, revered Sant Gadge Ji Maharaj, immortal warrior Avantibai Lodhi Ji and Uda Devi Ji and planted ‘a tree in the name of Mother’. During this, he said that these great men are the guides of our society and their teachings will always inspire us to serve the nation.

Under the development works of the Municipal Council, he unveiled the foundation stone of many important beautification projects.

During the program, Shri Maurya reiterated the pledge of “one tree in the name of mother” and environmental protection by planting saplings in the campus. He appealed to the gathering of people present that they should also plant saplings on important occasions of their lives.

While interacting with the local citizens and workers, Shri Maurya said that the double engine government is committed to taking development to the last person. He expressed satisfaction over the changing face of Kaushambi and the strengthening of basic facilities.
