Seeing the financial condition of her in-laws, she first removed her veil and started shoveling with her husband, then started vegetable farming on the spare land and has become a role model for women today.
The early life of Rani, who suffered from financial crisis in Kharonj village of Kurara area of Hamirpur district, went through a period of great struggle. Its motherland is Kurara. After marriage, when she reached her in-laws' house in Kharonj village, there was only two meals a day in the house. Seeing the entire family suffering from poverty, Rani took a big decision and removed her veil and started working as a laborer with her husband Shiv Lal. She used shovels with her husband.
Shivlal told that only a few bighas of land is in the ravines. The land was also rugged and had no crops. Told that due to poor financial condition of the house, shoveling had to be done. Even when married, the wife could not get those luxuries. That's why the wife removed her veil and supported him like Savitri. On the advice of scientists, he started cultivating pumpkin and other vegetables on the rugged land, which has changed the life of the entire family today.
Shovels with husband to meet household expenses
Rani, who became a source of inspiration for poor women, said that she felt very sad to see the financial crisis at home. Shovels were carried along with the husband. Working as a laborer for some time brought some happiness in life. Told that with the passage of time, farming was started on a few bighas of land in the ravines to improve the financial condition of the house. Today, the condition of the house has changed due to the cultivation of Custard Apple (Pumpkin) and other vegetables through organic methods. Rani is the mother of a son and a daughter.

He has made huge capital in just a few years by cultivating vegetables on the surplus land under the advice of scientists. Now her husband has stopped working. He has also built his permanent house without any government help. Agricultural scientist Dr. SP Sonkar said that farming using scaffolding method has changed the fate of women.
