Salman's statement was recorded for 4 hours in the firing case

Mumbai: In the shocking case of firing outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's Bandra residence Galaxy Apartment, the police have recorded the statements of Salman and his brothers Arbaaz, Sohail Khan.

A team of four police officers from the Crime Branch went to Galaxy Apartment. The police recorded Salman Khan's statement for four hours and his two brothers Arbaaz and Sohail's statement for two hours in the firing case.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is accused of being behind the attack as the gangster's brother Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the shootout through a post on Facebook.

On the morning of April 14, two bike-borne shooters opened indiscriminate fire outside Salman's house. Later, both shooters Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were arrested from Mata Ki Mazar in Gujarat. A total of six accused have been arrested in this case.

When accused Anuj Thapan hanged himself in the police lockup.

On the other hand, in another case of conspiracy to attack Salman, Navi Mumbai Police has arrested five accused of Bishnoi gang.

He was in touch with Lawrence Bishnoi, who is lodged in a Gujarat jail, and his brother Anmol, who lives abroad. On the instructions of the Bishnoi brothers, they also searched Salman's farmhouse in Panvel, Bandara's house and the shooting location of his film. They had to buy weapons from Pakistan for the attack.

The Bishnoi gang has threatened to kill Salman several times in the past. Devendra Budia, president of the All India Bishnoi Samaj, issued a statement last month arguing that if the Bollywood superstar apologizes, the apology will be considered. This mistake was made by Salman Khan, not Somi Ali. Therefore, he should propose to the Bishnoi Samaj that he wants to apologize.

He should come to the temple and apologise. He should take an oath that he will never make such a mistake in the future and will always work for the protection of wildlife and the environment, if he does so, society will consider the decision to forgive him, Devendra Budia added.

After the firing, Salman Khan's security was increased, he has been given two commandos, two escort vehicles, 11 policemen under YPSAL security. The security personnel also have two automatic guns.
