Salary of in-charge stopped for not showing challan, adverse entry to ADO

Mirzapur, 6 December (Hindustan Reporter). Joint Agriculture Director Dr. Ashok Upadhyay inspected the Agricultural Welfare Center and Government Agricultural Seed Store under construction under Patehra block on Friday. During the inspection, the construction work of the Agricultural Welfare Center was found to be 80 percent complete. Flooring work is still pending. The executing agency was instructed to complete the construction as soon as possible.

While inspecting the Government Agricultural Seed Store, information regarding seed availability and distribution was taken from in-charge Ramesh Kumar. The in-charge said that the amount received from seed distribution has been deposited through challan, but could not present the challan. On this, the Joint Director directed to withhold his salary till further orders.

Along with this, District Agriculture Officer Dr. Awadhesh Yadav was instructed to give mid-term adverse entry if ADO Agriculture did not supervise the work properly. Also, inspection report and status quo information was asked to be submitted within two working days.

During the inspection, farmer Vijay Kumar Malua told that he is earning Rs 40-50 thousand every month through Jarvera cultivation from his 10 Biswa cultivable land.

Inspection of Farmer Registry Camp

After this, the Farmer Registry Camp organized in Gopalpur was inspected. Panchayat assistant Pramod Kumar was found present there, while the accountant remained absent. During the inspection, it was informed that till now farmer registration of 200 farmers has been done.
