Since the number actually belonged to a youth from Chennai, he faced a lot of trouble and has also sued the makers of the film for compensation of Rs 1.1 crore.
There is a scene in the film where Sai Pallavi gives her number to the hero. The mobile number used in the film is the real number of an engineering youth from Chennai. After the release of the film, many people started calling Sai Pallavi’s number believing that it was really Sai Pallavi’s number. Since this young man’s important documents including Aadhaar are linked to this number, he cannot change it.
Now this number has been blurred in the film released on OTT. However, even before that the damage that was to be done to this young man had already been done.
