Sagar: Bus operations will begin within 25 km radius of the city | News India

Sagar, 5 September (HS). Buses will start operating within a radius of 25 km from the city and the CCTV cameras and GPS installed in the buses will be connected to ICCC and will be made available to the public for the convenience of the general public. Collector Sandeep G.R. gave these instructions in a review meeting organized for the smooth operation of city buses.

A review meeting was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of the collector regarding the operation of city buses operated in Sagar city under the urban public transport under the Amrit Yojana, in which Municipal Corporation Commissioner cum Managing Director Rajkumar Khatri, Deputy Collector Vijay Daheria, Mir. Amjad Khan from M Transport, Hemant Sen from Urban Sai Travels LLP, Nishchay Soni from Urban Sai Travels LLP, Mohan Kushwaha from Urban Sai Travels LLP, Ravindra Kushwaha from Urban Sai Travels LLP were present.

In the meeting, the collector said that the bus operators of Mir.M. Transports LLP and Shahri Sai Travels LLP should operate city buses in Sagar city only on the prescribed routes and as per the scheduled time. Instructions were given to take action in case of not operating regularly on the prescribed routes and as per the scheduled time. Instructions were given to integrate the CCTV cameras and GPS installed in the buses with ICCC and make them public for the convenience of the general public. Instructions were given to verify the permits and registrations of auto rickshaws operating in the city and to take action by the Transport Department against auto rickshaws operating illegally.

Vehicles such as auto rickshaws, buses, two-wheelers and four-wheelers are unnecessarily parked at Makronia crossing. The said vehicles should be parked only at the designated stops. If vehicles are found unnecessarily parked at the crossing, then the traffic police has been instructed to take action and instructions have been given to take action if city buses are parked outside the Collector Office premises.
