Dalveer Singh's colleagues told the Guardian that he was never ill and was a very kind person. He was always ready to work hard. Singh died on 16 August. An autopsy report is expected next month. Local prosecutors are continuing to investigate Singh's death, including whether his employer had taken appropriate measures under Italian law to protect him from extreme heat.
