37 year old Prakash Kapade had joined SRPF. After posting, he was on duty as Sachin Tendulkar's bodyguard in Mumbai. Kapade had come from Mumbai to his home in Ganpati Nagar, Jamner for eight days. At around 1 am on Tuesday night, Prakash Kapde committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. At this time everyone in the house was sleeping. When people ran towards his room after hearing the sound of bullets, Prakash was intoxicated with murder.
On receiving information about the incident, Jamner police reached the spot. After this, the body of Prakash Kapade was sent to Jamner city hospital for postmortem.
