Jadeja announced his retirement on Instagram. Sharing a note on Instagram, Jadeja said- “With great gratitude I say goodbye to T20 International matches. He is like a determined horse, galloping proudly. I have always given my best for the country. Now I will continue to do so in other formats as well. Winning the T20 World Cup for the country was like a dream come true. Now this was the pinnacle of my T20 International career. Thank you for your unwavering support.”
Brilliant T20 International career
Let us tell you that Ravindra Jadeja started his T20 international career on 10 February 2009 against Sri Lanka in Colombo. He has played 74 matches so far and has taken 54 wickets in 71 innings. He also took 515 wickets in 41 matches. However, his performance in the World Cup was not good. Since then, there is speculation that 35-year-old Jadeja may also announce retirement soon.
