Moscow: The Kremlin gave clear signals on Thursday that it is ready for talks to end the Ukraine-war, but many details remain to be worked out. On Russia's proposal to stop the war and negotiate with Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kulela said that Kim is also ready to negotiate with Moscow. The condition is that Ukraine's territorial integrity should be maintained.

Russian-speaking people live in the north and east of Ukraine. It is occupied by Russia. Russia has occupied the Crimea peninsula in the south since 2014. About 25 percent of Ukraine is occupied by Russian forces. Zelensky is not ready to withdraw Russian forces from the north and east. On the other hand, Zelensky will be ready for talks only when those forces withdraw.

Some people even say that America and the West may be behind this situation.

Whatever the case, ending hostilities is not only for the benefit of Russia-Ukraine, but also for the benefit of the whole world. The release of grain from the food reserves of Russia and Ukraine is necessary.

While saying it is ready for peace talks, Russia has also pointed to the reality that Zelenskyy's term as president is actually ending in May. So he should have actually announced the election before that, if not he can just announce the election.

In short, on the one hand he has shown readiness for talks, on the other hand he is keeping one-fourth of Ukraine occupied by his army under Russian control. This also includes the Crimea peninsula in the Black Sea. Russia occupied it in 2014. Which is not ready to leave. Therefore, Zelensky's pre-condition was that the Russian army should withdraw from the Ukrainian territory. Only then is peace-mantra possible.

However, Russia's readiness for talks can also be concluded to mean that Russia is now tired of the war. There are strict economic sanctions on it. Trade and commerce have received a huge boost. Therefore, it is natural that it should prepare for talks. Ukraine has become a battlefield. Seeing it bending a little, it is appropriate to declare some regions autonomous. Also, the talk of joining NATO should be abandoned. That is how this war started. The Minsk Agreement was signed between the two countries in 2014. According to which it was decided that both countries should not support each other's opponents. But this situation has arisen when Ukraine has agreed to directly join the anti-Russia group, let alone support it. However, if peace talks take place and peace is established, it is natural that everyone wants this.
