Russia attacks children's hospital in Ukraine, 31 dead – News India Live

31 people including seven children were killed and 112 injured in Russia's missile attack on a children's hospital in Kiev. Relief work has been started to remove them.

Officials say they are looking for life under the rubble. Russia's heavy missile attack created chaos in five cities simultaneously. Ukrainian President Zelensky said Russia has targeted five cities with different types of missiles. The Russian army attacked the children's hospital Okhmadit Children's Hospital in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv with hypersonic missiles and also bombed other places. Dozens of volunteers, doctors and rescue workers were digging in the rubble of a part of the Okhmadit Children's Hospital to look for survivors after the daytime attack. The Russian army also carried out air strikes on another city in central Ukraine, Kirvi Rih. 10 people were killed in this attack. Russia's missile attack could further escalate the long-running war between the two countries.

Hypersonic missiles shook buildings

This attack by the Russian army is considered to be the biggest attack on Kiev in the last several months. The Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement that the day's attacks involved Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, one of the most advanced Russian weapons. Kinzhal flies at a speed 10 times faster than the speed of sound and is almost impossible to stop. Its blasts shook the buildings of the city.
