Russia attacks Ukraine energy infrastructure: Russia's aggression against Ukraine is increasing. On Friday, it carried out 99 drone and missile attacks targeting Ukrainian power projects. Due to which people had to face electricity crisis in many areas. Ukrainian security forces have said that this attack was carried out across the country. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attack had damaged the power plant. The Ukrainian Air Force claims to have destroyed 84 Russian drones and missiles.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klimenka said an airstrike warning had been issued across the country, with 10 areas under Russian attack. Ukraine's state-owned grid operator Ukrainergo said Friday's attacks deliberately targeted thermal and hydropower plants in the central and western regions. DTEK, Ukraine's largest private electricity operator, also said three of its thermal power plants were damaged in the attack. He announced an emergency power shutoff in the city of Odessa, leaving many areas without power.

Serhiy Lysak, local governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, said five people, including a five-year-old girl, were injured in the attack in the area. Russia said on Friday that a Ukrainian drone strike in the Belgorod region killed one person and injured two others. NATO alliance member Romania said it had found pieces of the drone on Thursday night in fields on the Ukrainian border and near the Danube River. Romania's Defense Ministry said it also found parts of the drone on March 28. The Ministry of National Defense has said it is investigating the incident. However, Romania also said that previous attacks did not indicate an attack on Romania.

In a post on X on Thursday, Ukrainian President Vladimir Putin urged Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson to quickly send a new military package to Ukraine. This is important for international solidarity amid Russia's conflict, he said. The Republican speaker has blocked the $60 billion military and financial package bill for Ukraine for months.
