Jaipur/Jodhpur, 15 December (Hindustan Reporter). BSF band playing patriotic songs, cultural presentations, people running with full enthusiasm amidst the cold wave giving the message of clean, healthy and drug-free Jodhpur. A similar scene was seen near MBM University, Jodhpur on Sunday morning. The occasion was the SK Jodhpur Marathon organized by Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha and SK Finance in collaboration with IIMER. Union Minister Gajendra Singh participated in the marathon as the chief guest. Actor Rahul Dev and actress Mugdha Godse also encouraged the runners. Thousands of runners were encouraged to stay healthy by participating in three categories of 21 km, 10 km time run and 3 km non-time run respectively. Organizer Mukesh Mishra said that 15 thousand people took part in the marathon. Pt. Suresh Mishra, President of Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha and Yash Setia, Director of SK Finance were the special guests.
The enthusiasm of the runners to participate in the marathon was palpable. Runners started gathering at the venue early in the morning. At 4:30 am Pt. Suresh Mishra flagged off the 21 km run. The runners took the main route outside MBM University, Bhati Circle Police Line Road, U-turn from Ajit Bhawan Circuit House Umaid Bhawan Gate, Bhati Circle Ratanada Circle, Park Plaza Panch Batti Circle U-turn from Air Force Circle – Panch Batti Circle Left from Sanvit Circle Circle, U-turn from Panch Batti Circle and back to MBM University completed two loops. The 10 km run was flagged off at 6:30 am, two loops of the above route were completed by the runners. The 3 km run was flagged off at 7:00.

In 21 km men’s category, Arjun Pradhan stood first by completing the race in 1 hour 12 minutes 37 seconds, Deva Ram finished the race in 1 hour 13 minutes 39 seconds and Prem Patel finished the race in 1 hour 20 minutes 19 seconds and stood second and third respectively. Received. In 21 km women category, Pooja Rathod (1 hour, 53 minutes, 08 seconds) stood second and Jyotsna Singh (2 hours, 28 minutes, 25 seconds) stood first and second respectively. In the 10 km men’s category, Shakti Singh (31 minutes, 37 seconds) stood first, Deep Ram (32 minutes, 34 seconds) stood second and Amarjeet (33 minutes, 45 seconds) stood third. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat honored the winners by presenting them a check of the prize money.
