Change in rules: Some new government rules come into force from the beginning of every month. This time too, many such rules are coming into effect from March 1, which will have a direct impact on your pocket. These rules include Fastag, LPG gas cylinder and social media.

LPG prices are reviewed by the government at the beginning of every month and new prices are released. The price of LPG was kept unchanged in the beginning of February. The price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG gas cylinder is Rs 1053 in Delhi, Rs 1052.50 in Mumbai, Rs 1055.50 in Bengaluru, Rs 1068.50 in Chennai and Rs 1,105.00 per cylinder in Hyderabad.

Fastag

The last date for updating KYC of Fastag has been set by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) as 29 February. If you do not complete the KYC of your Fastag by this date, your Fastag may be deactivated and blacklisted by the National Highway Authority of India. In such a situation, get your Fastag KYC done before 29th February.

social media

The government has recently changed the IT rules. After this, social media apps like X, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram will have to follow these rules. After March, if any news is circulated on social media with wrong facts, a fine will be imposed. The government is trying to make social media safe through this.

Bank holiday

Public and private sector banks will remain closed for about 12 days in March 2023. This also includes two Saturday and Sunday holidays. According to the holiday calendar released by RBI, banks will remain closed on March 11 and 25 being the second and fourth Saturdays. Apart from this, there will be bank holidays on 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th due to Sunday.
