Moradabad, March 27 (Hindustan Reporter) The tussle that has been going on since yesterday regarding the Samajwadi Party candidate from Moradabad Lok Sabha seat has now come to an end. Former Bijnor MLA Ruchi Veera, who filed nomination from this seat today, will be the authorized candidate of SP from Moradabad Lok Sabha.
District Election Officer and District Magistrate of Allahabad Manvendra Singh said late on Wednesday evening that SP candidate Ruchi Veera has filed her nomination papers along with the symbol on Wednesday, the last day of nomination. She will be the official candidate of SP. Whereas the nomination papers filed by earlier MP ST Hasan will not be considered as the authorized nomination papers of SP.
Samajwadi Party had earlier made ST Hasan its candidate from this seat and he had also filed his nomination. Now due to internal strife he had to step back. He has announced that he will withdraw his nomination.
