Saharsa, October 18 (HS). Under the aegis of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Sharad Purnima Utsav program was organized with great pomp in the premises of Manohar High School on Thursday night. Under the guidance of Chief Teacher Shravan Kumar, the intellectual was given by City Director Engineer Rameshwar Thakur and State Service Head Rajaram as the chief guest.
He said that it rains nectar on the night of Sharad Purnima. Which we receive from the pervasive rays of the moon. Therefore, it has been included in the 6 major festivals celebrated by the Sangh. He said that it is a celebration of joy. Along with this, the birth anniversary of Maharishi Valmiki, the author of Ramayana is also celebrated. The objective of the Sangh is to provide nectar for social harmony to those who are separated from the main stream of the society. He said that today many discriminatory forces are engaged in dividing the society.
He said that the establishment of the Sangh was started in Nagpur on the day of Vijayadashami by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar with five volunteers. In the last 100 years, the Sangh has been continuously making efforts to organize the Hindu society after Sadhana. Success has been achieved to a great extent in this. Due to which today the entire society is being reflected in an organized form. While Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ended the evil prevalent in the society, the Sangh stopped religious conversions in tribal areas through service projects.
He said that today it is the volunteers from the Sangh's branch who are giving a new direction to the country. Due to which the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, abolition of Article 370 from Kashmir and following the principle of unitary humanism, rights and entitlements are being given to the people standing at the last rung of the society. Sangh volunteers are playing a leading role in all areas of social development. On the occasion, collective song, solo song, Subhashit Amrit Vachan and after prayer, nectar in the form of kheer was distributed.
