RSS is also ready for caste based census, but gave important advice to political parties | News India

RSS Caste Census: There has been a political uproar in India for some time now regarding the caste-based census. While the Bharat Coalition, including the Congress, is making the caste-based census a big issue, the NDA and BJP's allies are requesting the government to consider this census. However, the biggest thing is that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, a staunch supporter of the BJP, has now also agreed to the caste-based census, which will increase the pressure on the Modi government.

In the three-day meeting of RSS held in Kerala, RSS made important statements on sensitive issues like caste census and women's safety. The organization has expressed concern over caste census to maintain the unity and integrity of the society, as well as demanded strict new measures for the safety of women.

The recent unfortunate incident in West Bengal was also discussed in detail in the meeting. RSS has raised many issues including the mindset of the society to amend and tighten women's laws for the safety of women. Women's safety was discussed on five fronts including legal, awareness, values, education and self-defense. RSS has decided to run a women's safety campaign on this front. Apart from this, concern was also expressed about the issue of Hindus and minorities in Bangladesh and the government has been requested to take action in this regard.

Eventually, the RSS decided to celebrate the 300th birth anniversary of Ahilyabai and plans to work for social transformation under the Panch Paryavaran to mark the completion of 100 years of the organisation.
