Mohan Bhagwat on Manipur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat has expressed concern over the situation in Manipur. He said that Manipur has been waiting for peace for a year.
Before this it was silent for 10 years. It seems that the old gun culture has ended. And suddenly, the discord that was born or created, is still burning in its fire, has become a tragedy. Who will pay attention to this? It is our duty to consider this on priority basis.
Regarding the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, Mohan Bhagwat said that the elections are over, the results have come, but the discussion is still going on. Elections are an event that happens every five years in democracy. We will continue to fulfill our duty to improve public opinion. This happens every year, in every election, this year too.
Elections are a consensus building process. It is a system where both sides of a question come forward in Parliament with similar ideology. The way we insult each other, misuse technology and spread lies during election campaigns is not right.
Mohan Bhagwat said that the opposition should be called opposition instead of opposition. We have to free ourselves from the passion for elections and think about the problems of the country.
What is produced in our country should not be brought from outside. The country's policy should be that outsourcing is an international business, but we should take it on our terms and not forcefully. Follow the orders, laws, constitution and discipline of our country and stop at the red light, stand in queue wherever required.
Pay taxes on time, don't break any rules, don't break any system, be disciplined. I and my family can do all this, we should sit with the family once a week and remember this.
