Dhanbad, 19 October (Hindustan Reporter). On Saturday, Rs 1 lakh 38000 was recovered from two different vehicles and Rs 10 lakh from another vehicle from the Inter State Check Post located at Maithon.
Information about the seizure of Rs 10 lakh has been given to the Income Tax Department. Regarding last night's seizure, a total of Rs 16 lakh 5 thousand 440 and 30 bottles of beer were recovered from Maithon Inter State Check Post on 18th October.
It is noteworthy that District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra and Senior Superintendent of Police Hrideep P Janardanan have established 11 inter state check posts and five inter district check posts in the periphery of Dhanbad district with the aim of conducting the assembly elections peacefully, where Intensive checking of vehicles entering the district is being done.
