RPF arrested one person for breaking the glass of general coach

Deoria, 20 July (HS). After a lot of hard work on Saturday, RPF caught a passenger at Deoria Sadar railway station for breaking the glass of the emergency window of the general bogie to let his family board, and after taking legal action, sent him to court.

RPF Inspector Aas Mohammad said that on arrival of train no. 19616 at Deoria railway station, a passenger broke the emergency glass of the general coach by throwing a stone in order to board the train through the emergency window. He said that during questioning by RPF the passenger gave his name and address as Arjun Chauhan son of late Lal ji Chauhan, address- Yamuna Sadan Bharouli Bazar, Police Station Kotwali Deoria, District Deoria. A case was registered against him under section 153 of the Railway Act and presented in the Railway Court.

He told that on being questioned about the above incident, he told that on 19 July 24, 04 members of my family had to go to Udaipur by train no. 19616. I had come to see them off in the train. The general coach of the train was very crowded. I went to the emergency window. I asked the passengers sitting inside to open the emergency window. When they did not open it, I quickly picked up a stone from the line and broke the glass of the emergency window. I had an argument with those railway passengers. RPF took legal action and sent me to court.

During this, Sub Inspector Prem Sagar, Constable Jai Ram Yadav, Constable Nityanand were present. RPF Inspector Aas Mohammad said that those who commit such acts will not be spared.
