RPF arrested an accused with liquor | News India

Ranchi, 17 August (HS). Railway Protection Force (RPF) has arrested an accused with liquor from Namkum station. The name of the arrested accused is Vicky Kumar. He is a resident of Gaya, Bihar. 11 bottles of liquor Blender's Pride whisky have been recovered from him.

Assistant Sub-Inspector of RPF Ravi Shekhar said on Saturday that on the instructions of Divisional Security Commissioner of Ranchi Railway Division Pawan Kumar, a continuous checking campaign is being conducted. In this sequence, checking was done at Namkum station. During the investigation, it was seen that a passenger boarded train number 18624 Hatia Islampur Express train with a white colored carton. On the basis of suspicion, he was stopped and the carton was checked. During the investigation, 11 bottles of Blender's Pride whiskey were recovered from the carton. After this, Vicky Kumar was arrested. During interrogation, he told that he had bought all the liquor bottles from Namkum and was going to sell them at a higher price in Bihar.
