Rohit will make a world record in the first match of T20 World Cup, the first player to do so

IPL 2024 may be coming to an end but the cricket action is not going to stop. The T20 World Cup will start from May 26, a week after the IPL final. Cricket fans are also waiting for this and in such a situation the level of excitement is sure to increase. Gradually an atmosphere is being created regarding the tournament. Now when it comes to T20 World Cup, a record will also be made. One such record will be made by Team India captain Rohit Sharma, who will register his name in the record book without playing a single ball in the very first match.

Rohit will create a record in his very first match

Team India will start its T20 World Cup campaign against Ireland on June 5. This match will be played in Nassau County, New York and Rohit will create history as soon as he enters the match. This will be the 9th edition of the T20 World Cup and Rohit will be the player to play in all of them. Rohit started his career with the first T20 World Cup in 2007 and contributed significantly in making India the champion.

Rohit has not missed a single World Cup

Rohit has been playing in this format continuously since 2009 and has not missed a single World Cup till now. Rohit has the record of playing most matches in the T20 World Cup. The Indian captain has so far played a total of 39 matches in 8 T20 World Cups, in which he has scored 963 runs. Rohit would not only want to cross the thousand runs mark in this World Cup but would also like to make Team India the champion by raining runs.

Shakib will equalize after 3 days

As far as playing all the T20 World Cups is concerned, Rohit is not the only player to do wonders. Along with him, former Bangladesh captain and experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan can also create this history. Bangladesh has to play its first match against Sri Lanka on June 8 and as soon as he plays in this match, Shakib will become the second player to play in all the T20 World Cups. Shakib has played 36 matches, in which he has scored 742 runs and taken the most 47 wickets. Shakib also has a chance to complete his 50 wickets in the World Cup.
