Captain Rohit Sharma, who led India to the T20 World title in June this year, has made a big revelation regarding the final match. The turning point of this match was the catch of Suryakumar Yadav, on the basis of which India defeated South Africa in the last over. But here Rohit did not talk about Suryakumar but about wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. He said that Pant tried to slow down the game and he was successful in it to a great extent.
Pant stopped the match due to injury
Rohit made this revelation in a show with teammates Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dubey, Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh. Rohit said that when the South African team needed 30 runs in 30 balls, Pant stopped the match for some time by making the excuse of injury. This broke the rhythm of the South African batsmen, due to which Team India got the benefit.
