Indian ODI and Test captain Rohit Sharma has left for Australia to play the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The hitman was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Saturday, which means he is all set to board a flight to Australia. Ritika Sajdeh herself came to drop Rohit to the airport. Let us tell you that Team India is already in Australia. The first match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy between the two teams has also started. Rohit was not available for selection in the first test. Actually, his wife Ritika has recently become a mother for the second time. In such a situation, the Indian captain wanted to spend some time with his family. For this reason he took leave from BCCI. But there were already reports that Rohit would join Team India in the middle of the Perth Test.

Rohit and Ritika reached the airport on Saturday night. After getting down from the car, Rohit hugged Ritika and bid farewell and entered the airport alone. Meanwhile, some close friends also wished Rohit all the best for BGT.

Jasprit Bumrah is leading the team in the absence of Rohit Sharma in the Perth Test. Bumrah has captained brilliantly so far. Team India, who came to bat first at the beginning of the match, was all out for 150 runs. After this the Australian team was all out for 104 runs in the second innings. Bumrah took five wickets.

In the second innings, the opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul gave a great start to the team. By the end of the second day’s play, Team India had scored 172 runs without losing any wicket. Jaiswal is at the crease after scoring 90 runs and Rahul after scoring 62 runs.
