Celebrities of Bollywood and TV industry often change their body for their characters. Sometimes losing weight, sometimes building muscles, sometimes gaining weight – all this is part of their work. However, for this they have to follow such a diet which can prove to be very dangerous for their health. Sharing a similar experience, actor Rohit Roy said that he had followed a very unhealthy diet to lose 16 kg in 25 days.
What was this diet?
Rohit Roy talked openly about this diet in an interview given to Cyrus Broacha. He said:
“I had to lose weight for the film ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’. I had to look very thin for the character, so I decided to go on a liquid diet. With the help of this diet, I lost 16 kg in 25-26 days.”
‘This diet is very dangerous’
Rohit termed this diet as dangerous and poor. He said:
“This diet is so dangerous that it can damage your organs. That’s why I call it a bad diet. It is not safe for the body at all. I have decided that I will never follow this kind of diet again in my life. at no cost.”
Rohit also told that he has heard stories of many Hollywood actors who follow similar diets.
“You will be surprised to know that some actors have even lost their lives due to this diet.”
Forbidden from taking fitness inspiration on social media
Rohit cautioned people on social media from taking inspiration from fitness. He said:
“I always say don’t go on my Instagram account. There I upload only those pictures which are best. In reality, it is not possible to look or be like that every day.”
Why should one not compromise on health?
It is clear from this story of Rohit Roy that harming the body for any role can be dangerous. Fitness is not just about losing weight or looking muscular, but maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
