Jaunpur, 29 October (Hindustan Reporter). In Kabulpur village of Jalalpur area, late on Monday night, miscreants looted Rs 15,000 in cash and jewelery worth Rs 4.5 lakh from the house of a 12-year-old child by putting a knife on his neck. Police arrived on Tuesday after getting information and started investigating the matter.
Imran's wife Tanveer, who lives in Kabulpur village, was sleeping in the room on the second floor of the house. After 12 o'clock in the night, two miscreants entered the room from the place where the cooler was installed. He woke up after seeing the miscreants inside the room. During this, a miscreant put a knife on the neck of his 12 year old son Ayaan. After this, the miscreants took the keys from Tanveer and looted the jewelery and cash worth Rs 15,000 kept in the cupboard. The miscreants locked the door of the stairs coming up from below. The miscreants ran away after threatening Tanveer. Frightened by the incident, the woman raised an alarm after his departure and her family members came. The family members were shocked to see the incident of robbery in the house.
Village head Muzammil informed the police about the incident on Tuesday morning. On receiving the information, Halka Chowki Incharge reached the spot and conducted investigation. Police station in-charge Ghananand Tripathi said that the miscreants had looted the woman under pressure by placing a knife on the neck of the child. A case has been registered and the miscreants are being searched.
