Ranchi, 01 April (Hindus). RJD state president Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav has demanded from the central leadership of INDIA alliance and RJD national president Lalu Prasad Yadav to give Chatra and Palamu Lok Sabha seats to the party in Jharkhand.
He said that RJD has been continuously contesting elections in Chatra and Palamu Lok Sabha and has won several times. This is the demand of the people of Palamu and the people and workers of Chatra.
State President and Minister Satyanand Bhokta was speaking at a press conference at the party office on Monday. He said that our preparations are on five seats. But BJP has to be driven out, hence there is demand for only two seats. Every leader and every worker of RJD is gearing up for the elections. Along with Chatra and Palamu, wherever our Grand Alliance candidates are there, RJD leaders and workers will work to make INDIA's candidate win. The state president said that RJD has also given up many of its sitting seats in the assembly elections for the sake of alliance, including Garhwa, Bhavnathpur, Palamu, Manika Sarath and many other seats. BJP had to be removed. Therefore, the alliance partners should also sacrifice and RJD should work on giving both the Lok Sabha seats.
On the occasion, Minister Satyanand Bhokta said that RJD has control over the Lok Sabha of Chatra and Palamu and there is no problem in demanding its rights. We request our National President Lalu Prasad Yadav, we request Jharkhand Chief Minister and former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Congress's Sonia Gandhi and Rahul and all our other alliance leaders to give two seats to RJD at any cost.
