Rise before Dussehra: Gold increased by Rs 78,000: Silver increased by Rs 1500

Mumbai: Before Dussehra, the prices of gold and silver increased again in the Mumbai jewelery market on Friday. As world markets rallied, domestic prices fell and the latest selloff broke. Had to think more. Today the rupee fell in the Mumbai currency market and the value of the dollar increased against the rupee.

Meanwhile, global gold prices rose from $2650 to $2651 to $2644 to $2645 an ounce as funds resumed buying in the world market. Gold prices rose by Rs 500 per 10 grams to Rs 78,000 at Rs 99.50 in Ahmedabad jewelery market compared to the world market. Ahmedabad silver price increased by Rs 1500 per kg to Rs 91 thousand.

In the global market, silver prices rose to $30.63-30.64 an ounce from $31.46-31.29-31.30 an ounce, tracking gold. Global copper prices rose 0.47 percent today. There were signs that China would provide more incentives.

In the world market, platinum price increased from 962 to 963 to 978 to 979 dollars while palladium price increased from 1053 to 1054 to 1089 to 1090 to 1074 to 1075 dollars. Meanwhile, fluctuations were seen in the price of crude oil.

The price of Brent crude ranged from $78.04 to $78.71, ranging from a high of $77.55 to $79.37 and a low of $78.71 per barrel. The price of American crude was $75.23. In Mumbai bullion market today the price of gold stood at Rs 75320 at Rs 74538 without GST at 99.50. Whereas the price of 99.90 was Rs 74838 and Rs 75623. Mumbai silver prices increased from Rs 88353 to Rs 89963 without GST. Gold and silver prices in Mumbai were 3 percent more than this price including GST.
