Jhansi, July 19 (HS). Navabad police has put an end to the activities of Rinku Rajput who was creating havoc on the streets after being released from jail on bail. Police arrested the accused Rinku along with his 20 companions and sent him to jail again on Friday. Along with this, six vehicles have also been confiscated.

Police arrested Rinku Rajput and his 20 companions today afternoon, who were creating havoc by blocking roads with vehicles along with hundreds of youths after being released from jail on bail a few days ago. Regarding the police action, accused Rinku told the media that he, along with his companions, surrendered before the SSP. When asked, he told that he had got bail. Many of his companions came to take him home. Someone made a video of this and posted it on the social media. He is being punished for just this by sending him to jail today. He said that the fight against illegal mining will not stop.

Giving information, SP City Gyanendra Kumar Singh said that Rinku Rajput was sent to jail in the month of April in the firing case in Erach. Recently, Rinku Rajput was released from jail on bail and took out a procession with heavy vehicles and hundreds of youths and blocked the Jhansi-Kanpur highway. Taking cognizance of this, the Navabad police registered a case and arrested Rinku Rajput and his 20 companions. Also, six four-wheelers involved in the procession have been seized. He said that the search is still on for other youths and vehicles who were involved in the procession.
