This year, 58 new names have been added to the list of Mumbai-based billionaires, taking the total number of Mumbai-based billionaires to 386. The country's capital Delhi has added 18 new billionaires this year, taking the number of Delhi-based billionaires to 217. Hyderabad is at the third spot on the list with 104 billionaires, followed by 17 new billionaires.
The number of billionaires in Bangalore has not increased this year
Bengaluru is ranked fourth in the list of the richest cities in the country. The number of billionaires living in Bengaluru is 100, no new billionaires were added to Bengaluru this year. Chennai is ranked fifth in the list with 82 billionaires, 15 new billionaires were added this year. With 18 new billionaires, the number of billionaires living in Kolkata has increased to 69 and the city is ranked sixth in the list.
The number of billionaires living in Gurugram has reached 23
Ahmedabad is at the 7th place in the list with 67 billionaires (12 new billionaires). Pune is at the 8th place in the list with 53 billionaires (14 new billionaires). Surat is at the 9th place in the list with 28 billionaires, the city added 1 new billionaire this year. Gurugram is at the 10th place in the list, where a total of 23 billionaires live. Gurugram has added 5 new billionaires this year.
