New Delhi : Every day new revelations are being made in the case of rape and murder at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College. Now in this case, the CBI has summoned forensic doctor Apurva Biswas, a member of the team that conducted the postmortem of the trainee doctor.
Suvendu's claim- TMC leader threatened the doctor
BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has made a big claim. Suvendu said that he has made a big disclosure after coming out of the CBI interrogation. He said that a person claiming to be the uncle of the victim was threatening that if the post-mortem was not completed by the end of the day, a 'river of blood' would flow.
Suvendu also claimed that the person is former councillor Sanjiv Mukherjee. He is a former CPIM councillor of Panihati Municipality, who later joined Mamata Banerjee's party TMC and became a close aide of Panihati TMC MLA Nirmal Ghosh.
What did Suvendu Adhikari allege?
The BJP leader further said, everyone knows that the victim's last rites were done in a hurry. The police were monitoring the operation at the crematorium and crowds were gathering at the crematorium to find the body. Nirmal Ghosh himself was present as per Mamata Banerjee's instructions. Another signature on the document is also of Somnath Dey, who is not a relative of the victim. Suvendu questioned whether this is the same person.
